A Brief History
SAS Logistics, Sides and Son Light Haulage specialists was founded by Mr Matthew Sides during the winter of 2009 after looking at transport management in great detail.
Mr Sides had worked in the Transport industry for over 12 years and in 2003 became the transport manager of one of the largest heavy goods fleets in the Wrexham area.
Having A full CPC ( Certificate of Professional Competence ) in road haulage and business operations Mr Sides was able to manage fleet efficiency and reduce running costs and lower the costs to the consumer.
Sides and Son's proprietor Mr Matthew Sides decided to build a future for himself and his son Jamie Sides and started SAS Logistics, Having the experience and knowledge from managing a million miles a year of deliveries and collections light haulage was a easy step to take.
2016 and now We operate a small fleet of vehicles In Wrexham North Wales and Chester North west ranging from car derived Vans to super jumbo high top LWB Mercedes Sprinter vans making it possible to move anything from a envelope of important documents to pallets or a full load of boxes etc. Many find us useful for light removals or delivering goods between stores but we simply say if it fits we can move it. We no longer move cars and vans and have most recently gone into Motorcycle Transportation as we can se the same vehicles with some modifications keeping us very competative in this sector/ all vehicles are as always live tracked and there current location can be supplied on a map within a few minuites to the customer.
SAS Logistics operate 24hr a day 7 days a week 365 days of the year and there are no extra charges for evenings, weekends or bank holidays, after all a mile is still a mile no matter what the day or time is.
SAS Logistics execute every collection and delivery to the highest standard of at all times and assure the costs are kept to a minimum for the customer, we look at every aspect of a job and if a delivery has motorway miles or the load can be taken on a smaller vehicle we always pass on the savings to the customer.
SAS Logistics are happy to supply our services on a Man and Van hire basis where we simply turn up in the morning and chauffeur you around doing whatever you want at a pre agreed rate for the day. With this you get the van you need and a driver that can not only handle the vehicle but will help you with your needs. No deposits, No Worries.
